Nucar Chevrolet of Norwood located at 381 Providence Hwy, Norwood, MA 02062, is looking for an experienced Service Director, with a proven track record.

Our ideal canidate will possess the ability to operate an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records. Applicants must be high energy, personable individuals with a professional appearance and strong customer relations skills! This is an excellent opportunity for those with previous automotive experience to further their careers with one of the area's fastest growing Dealer Groups!

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
• 5 years automotive service experience
• 1-3 years dealership supervisory/management experience

Responsibilities:

• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all service department staff
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department
• Monitors and controls the performance of the department
• Facilitates and/or conducts technical training and sends employees to appropriate training schools as needed
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
• Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks
• Understands, keeps current and knowledgeable, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service-related operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records
• Conducts periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality
