Parts Counter Person- Nucar Chevrolet of Norwood
Nucar Chevrolet of Norwood, 381 Providence Hwy, Norwood, MA 02062, is currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Parts Counter Person to join our growing team. This is a customer-facing sales and service role that requires strong communication skills and a dedication to excellent service. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to retail and internal service customers
- Assist customers in accurately identifying and ordering automotive parts
- Communicate clearly with customers and the service department regarding backorders and delays
- Perform regular inventory tasks, including weekly bin counts and cycle counts
- Check in and stock nightly deliveries of parts and customer orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Handle heavy parts and packages (up to 50 lbs)
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous parts experience a plus, but not required
- Basic computer skills for parts lookup and order entry
- A team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
