About the role
Being a Data Auditor is different from being a traditional auditor: you will be a member of the Audit Platform chapter, which aims to platformize and automate internal audit processes and assessments. It is a key position to scale our Continuous Audit platform, where we implement automated audit tests and continue to transform the way we audit, leveraging technology and data to continuously evaluate business data. This professional will support the Spanish-speaking countries.
You will partner with internal auditors and business teams to identify opportunities to use data analytics to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, exposure to different risks across the company, and create automated tests, through activities that develop your analytical potential and large-scale data manipulation to increase the automation and efficiency of audit processes.

You'll be responsible for
- Execute audit fieldworks in Spanish-speaking countries (Mexico and Colombia): support the planning of audit projects through data insights, provide data support to other auditors, conduct and document audit tests, and support the creation of audit reports and issue writing.
- Design continuous auditing tests.
- Embrace technology through the development and monitoring of continuous auditing tests (See our blog post: Reinventing Internal Audit by embracing technology).
- Act as an audit champion, you will be in touch with stakeholders in the first or second lines, and capture new risks not mapped by IA.
- Support the internal audit annual planning.
We are looking for a person who has
- 3 to 4 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or risk areas;
- Experience in connecting different tests' conclusions and writing assertive audit reports and findings;
- Comfortable performing and concluding tests through the use of data tools (ACL, SQL, Alteryx, or experience with similar tools);
- Advanced English and Spanish language skills;
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a high-paced environment;
- The ability to build strong relationships.
