Piano Instructor – Nuance Music Studio

Nuance Music Studio is seeking a Piano Instructor to join our growing team in the Triangle Area. We are a community-focused studio that values creating a warm, encouraging, and supportive environment for both students and teachers. As a traveling studio, we provide in-home piano lessons throughout the Triangle Area, offering a personalized and convenient learning experience for our students.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about music education and enjoys helping students of all ages and skill levels grow in their musical journey.

Position Details

• Teaching availability: Monday–Saturday/Whatever works for you!
• Flexible scheduling — instructors choose the days and teaching hours that work best for them
• Compensation starting at $36/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach private piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
• Create engaging, individualized lesson plans based on each student’s goals
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and studio directors regarding student progress
• Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes in the Triangle area.

Qualifications

• Music degree (completed or in progress), AND/OR equivalent teaching/performance experience preferred
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication, reliability, and organizational skills
• Passion for teaching and supporting students’ musical growth
