Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused National Accounts Representative to join our growing logistics and transportation team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients in need of dedicated freight solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, a proven sales record, and the ability to match client needs with tailored, cost-effective transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for dedicated transportation services.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and prospects.
- Conduct needs analysis to determine customer requirements and provide tailored transportation solutions.
- Collaborate with operations, operations, and customer service teams to ensure service delivery excellence.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts in alignment with company goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain CRM records with accurate and up-to-date information on accounts and prospects.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of B2B sales experience in the transportation, logistics, or supply chain industry (dedicated fleet experience strongly preferred).
- Understanding of logistics & supply chain
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals.
- Self-starter with a high degree of motivation and accountability.
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (not required)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
