Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to oversee daily warehouse operations. In this vital role, you will contribute to managing inventory control, coordinating distribution activities, and be a part of a team to ensure efficient warehouse processes. You will help optimize workflow, improve procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
Duties
- Daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and materials handling
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems
- Contribute to warehouse distribution tasks while promoting safety and efficiency
- Coordinate logistics for e-commerce orders and third-party logistics (3PL) providers
- Implement process improvements to streamline warehouse workflows and reduce errors
- Conduct regular inventory audits and control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse distribution, and logistics processes
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms
- Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy lifting, and materials handling equipment
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for warehouse environments
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and other departments
