A showroom position is now available at our Troy, IL location. Candidate will assist customers in selection and demonstration of products, stocking shelves and sales order fulfillments. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb a ladder. Knowledge of construction products preferred but not required.
Working hours are 7:00am - 5:00pm M - F and rotating Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm.

Job Description
Job Title: Showroom Associate
Department: Showroom
Reports To: Nu Way Concrete Forms
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for providing prompt and courteous service for customers to include pulling product and maintaining fully stocked shelves by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Displays good customer service and answers questions about product.*
- Accommodates customers by loading product when needed.*
- Pulls orders for customers.*
- Pulls orders to be delivered to jobsites.*
- Pulls orders for salesmen to deliver to customers.*
- Pulls orders to be loaded on the transfer truck to be delivered to other stores.*
- Pulls items to be used as rental stock for customers.*
- Stocks shelves with product.*
- Pulls items for the purpose of down stocking.*
- Updates pricing on products promptly as they change.*
- Reorganizes and changes displays continually and as needed throughout the year.*
- Maintains the Showroom in a clean and well-organized manner.*
- Assists the Receiving Department when needed.
- Assists the Parts and Service Department with setting up displays.

Language Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Bistrack to find items, stock counts and pricing.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certificates and Licenses:
- Tow motor license certificate.
Equipment:
- Operate forklift to move, store and retrieve product.
- Operate stand up lift to move, store and retrieve product.
- Use pallet jack to push or pull up to 1200 lbs.
- Climbing ladder.
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
- Need to be able to prioritize projects and customers.
- Knowledge of construction products and equipment extremely helpful.
