Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, check appointments, and manage the front desk .
- Assist hairstylists with hair extensions, color theory applications, and hair styling techniques to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly.
- Support retail sales by upselling products like hair care items, nail care products, and makeup essentials while providing expert advice.
- Manage appointment scheduling, client check-ins/outs, and follow-up communications to foster strong customer relationships.
- Mentor new team members on salon procedures and assist with store management tasks to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
- Cosmetology or barbering license required; or in hair school.
- Strong communication skills to engage with clients confidently and professionally.
- Ability to perform retail math for upselling and inventory management efficiently.
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with a friendly and proactive attitude.
