Role Description The Acupuncture Physician is a contract, on-site role based in Maitland, FL, focused on delivering safe, effective acupuncture and holistic health services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing acupuncture and adjunct therapies for conditions such as pain, arthritis, stress, and other health concerns. The role involves offering nutritional counseling and lifestyle recommendations to support patients’ overall health, monitoring progress over time, and maintaining accurate, confidential medical records. The Acupuncture Physician will collaborate with other healthcare and wellness professionals, educate patients on treatment options, and contribute to a welcoming clinic environment through clear communication and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Clinical care skills in Medicine and Acupuncture, with the ability to assess patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Holistic practice skills in Holistic Health and Nutritional Counseling to support whole-person wellness and preventative care.
- Experience treating musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions, including Arthritis, with a focus on pain management and functional improvement.
- Valid licensure or certification as an Acupuncture Physician (or equivalent) in the state of Florida, in good standing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and build trust with diverse patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting and maintain detailed, accurate clinical documentation.
- CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with infection control, safety protocols, and ethical standards in patient care.
- Prior experience in an integrative or holistic clinic setting is preferred but not required.
- Medicare certified provider
