Our Thrift Stores are an integral part of NU-HOPE Elder Care Services. Annually, we are tasked with raising matching funds for the State and Federal grants we receive. All the proceeds from the thrift stores go directly back into services we provide to our clients.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
- Oversee inventory control, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability.
- Maintain cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and store financial transactions accurately.
- Implement marketing initiatives and merchandising plans to attract customers and increase sales.
Skills
- Strong leadership with proven supervising and team management experience in retail environments.
- Proficient in basic cash register operations, cash handling procedures, and retail sales techniques.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
