As a Lot Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our repossession activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inventory Management: Keep track of all vehicles and assets in the company's possession and maintain an accurate inventory. This includes recording relevant information such as make, model, VIN, and condition.
- Lot Organization: Arrange the vehicles and assets in an orderly manner within the lot, ensuring they are easily accessible for the repossession team.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles to document their condition accurately. Take photographs and complete condition reports to assist with legal and administrative processes.
- Security and Safety: Maintain a secure lot by implementing appropriate security measures. Regularly monitor the lot for potential risks or hazards and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Lot Maintenance: Keep the lot clean and organized at all times. Remove debris, perform light maintenance tasks, and ensure all necessary equipment is in good working order.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as filing paperwork, preparing documentation, and updating databases. Collaborate with the office staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry or a repo company.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
