Your Role:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will play an essential role in creating a positive patient experience and supporting the delivery of exceptional dental care. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to helping patients feel comfortable throughout their treatment. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who communicates effectively, takes initiative, and enjoys contributing to a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and help create a positive, comfortable experience from the moment they arrive.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures.
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures by anticipating needs and providing instruments, materials, suction, and retraction as needed.
- Accurately document dental findings, treatment notes, and charting within Dentrix Ascend software.
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans (for candidates with a valid X-ray license).
- Maintain infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and equipment and adhering to OSHA and office safety standards.
- Provide patients with post-treatment instructions and oral health education.
- Support the clinical team in maintaining an efficient and organized workflow throughout the day.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
- Current X-ray license required.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using computers and dental software.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Ranging between $18 - $28 per hour
