Position Overview: Nu Care Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Administrator. The Human Resource Administrator will play a vital role in managing the day to day Human Resources operations for all staff in our Community Integrated Living Arrangements. This position reports to the Executive Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain personnel records, ensuring all employee information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Update internal HR databases with new hire information, leaves of absence, terminations, and other relevant data.
- Prepare HR documents onboarding and policy manuals.
- Organize the recruitment process
- Post job advertisements as needed.
- Screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboard new employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs, addressing employee inquiries, and ensuring accurate records for all employees.
- Manage unemployment claims as needed.
- Manage and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Monitor and update leaves of absence and work schedules.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, liaising with external partners when necessary.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
- Conduct employee orientation and onboarding process
- Recruit Staff on an as needed basis
- Create a positive engaging atmosphere for staff
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar HR role.
- Proficiency with HR software and databases (e.g., HRIS or HRMS).
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 25.00 hourly
Expected hours: 40 hours per week
