Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Data Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and developing big data platforms, as well as hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data integration solutions to connect disparate data sources.
• Analyze and understand complex data structures and APIs.
• Develop high-performance data processing pipelines using Spark and Hadoop.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to ensure accurate and reliable data aggregation and cleansing.
• Partner with Product Managers to define business requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
• Work with cloud and data architects to design scalable and secure cloud-based architectures.
• Contribute to the development of automated data pipelines using DevOps best practices.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in data engineering and big data platforms.
• Expertise in Hadoop ecosystem technologies, including Spark, HBase, and Hive.
• Proficiency in Scala or Java development.
• Strong understanding of streaming data architectures and technologies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and Continuous Integration/Delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
