We are currently seeking a Sr. SQL / ETL Lead (AWS Python is a must) to join our team in Mckinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary skill set would be SQL AWS Python with ETL as “Nice to Have”.
- Experience in ETL jobs
- Identify performance bottlenecks in existing environment and refine/rewrite in Stored Procedure
- Experience is problem solving, analysis of ETL jobs, identify which one should be in ETL Vs Stored Procedure and convert them
- Experience in addressing performance issues in SQL/ETL and use creativity to find solutions to improve performance
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with technical/non-technical audiences
- Participate in project planning sessions to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow
- Document detailed application specifications; translate technical requirements into programmed application modules; and develop and enhance software application modules
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to predefined architectural specifications. Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues
- Strong experience in SQL – Minimum of 7yrs.
- 8 years of experience in Data Bricks, ADLS (Azure Data Lake Store), PySpark, Azure SQL, Python, SSIS
