We are currently seeking a AWS Cloud Engineer - HYBRID to join our team in Smithfield, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Extend Kubernetes to include build operators, custom resources.
- Leverage Go / Python for application maintenance
- Develop using cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure,
- Work with Rancher
- Utilize Jenkins for building, deploying, and maintaining pipelines
- Write, debug, and optimize Groovy scripts for Jenkins pipeline automation and job configuration
- Utilize pipeline-as-code and best practices for scalable CI/CD processes
- Administer and maintain Unix/Linux systems, including patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Utilize software engineering best practices and principles
- Perform system-level debugging, log analysis to ensure uptime/availability of critical platform components
- Perform shell scripting to automate routine maintenance tasks
- 5 years experience working on Kubernetes including build operators, custom resources
- 5 years development experience in cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure
- 5 years development experience in Go / Python for application maintenance
