The Sr. Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the performance, scalability, and reliability of all supply chain operations supporting Network Connex Data Center Services.
This role ensures that materials, equipment, vendors, warehouses, laydown yards, logistics systems, and procurement functions operate as an integrated delivery engine capable of supporting high-density structured cabling programs safely, efficiently, and predictably across multiple hyperscale data center projects.
The Sr. Supply Chain Manager serves as the operational bridge between project demand, field execution, estimating requirements, and supplier performance.
Primary Outcomes Owned by This Role
1. Warehouse Operations & Material Control
Accountable for the performance, organization, and accuracy of all warehouse operations and material handling teams.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing warehouse personnel and daily operations
• Maintaining accurate inventory controls and transaction discipline
• Ensuring proper receiving, storage, handling, and issuance of materials
• Driving safe and efficient warehouse workflows
• Preventing loss, damage, and obsolete inventory accumulation
Success looks like:
• Accurate inventory visibility across all locations
• Fast and reliable material fulfillment
• Clean, organized, high-performing warehouse operations
• Minimal shrinkage, damage, or stock discrepancies
2. Project Procurement & Supplier Management
Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and supplier execution that supports active and future projects.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating vendor and supplier RFQs in support of estimating
• Leading project procurement planning aligned to schedules
• Negotiating pricing, lead times, and service expectations
• Issuing purchase orders and managing procurement cycles
• Monitoring supplier performance and escalation management

• Strong supplier responsiveness and reliability
• Reduced material cost volatility
• Procurement aligned with project milestones
3. Logistics, Staging & Just-in-Time Delivery
Responsible for ensuring materials move efficiently from suppliers to warehouses to jobsites with minimal disruption.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing inbound and outbound freight activity
• Coordinating site delivery schedules with project teams
• Overseeing material staging and kitting processes
• Supporting Just-in-Time delivery models to active jobsites
• Solving transportation and delivery constraints quickly

• Reduced onsite congestion and excess inventory
• High field confidence in delivery reliability
• Minimal expedited freight or emergency shipments
4. Onsite Laydown Yard Operations
Responsible for operational control of project laydown yards and external storage environments.
Responsibilities include:
• Establishing organized laydown yard standards
• Managing yard personnel, receiving, and issue processes
• Coordinating secure storage of project materials and equipment
• Maintaining inventory accuracy between yard and project needs
• Supporting efficient field pick-up and deployment activity

• Minimal misplaced or damaged materials

5. Operational Planning & Continuous Improvement
Responsible for improving supply chain capability and providing actionable intelligence to business unit leadership.

• Forecasting demand tied to awarded and pipeline work
• Identifying material risks, shortages, and capacity constraints
• Supporting standardization of supply chain processes
• Implementing process improvements across logistics and procurement
• Providing reporting to operations and executive leadership
