Estimator

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Signage Estimator to join a growing signage manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the VP, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for custom signage projects, including channel letters, neon, electronic signs, monuments, and other architectural signage. This is an in-office role where you will work closely with sales and project teams to support profitable project bids and ensure high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project details to develop accurate project pricing.
• Provide full-service estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and installation requirements.
• Review bids and proposals for alignment with design intent, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to support profitable pricing strategies.
• Track and analyze material costs, labor rates, and market trends to inform competitive pricing.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
• Conduct post-project profitability reviews and participate in bid review meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in custom fabrication sign estimating for complex signage projects.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, and installation logistics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of custom sign manufacturing timelines, fabrication processes, and cost-analysis methodologies.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing environment.
