Join a leading energy solutions firm as an MEP Construction Superintendent managing critical infrastructure upgrades for federal buildings. You will oversee the transition of these facilities from steam to new natural gas-fired boiler plants. This role requires a seasoned leader who can operate independently as the sole company representative on-site during night and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
o Oversee day-to-day MEP construction activities, specifically focusing on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for new boiler plants.
o Act as the primary onsite representative for the company during second shifts and weekends.
o Coordinate and supervise trade subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to project scope.
o Maintain detailed daily logs and reports using Microsoft Excel and Word.
o Ensure site safety and security protocols are strictly followed in occupied federal facilities.
o Manage project timelines for assigned buildings, which may range from one to four years in duration.
Required Qualifications:
o Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
o Technical Expertise: Strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
o Security: Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining an HSPD-12 government badge (requires a clean criminal record and dense background check).
o Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
o Education: High school diploma required.
Preferred Qualifications:
o Active HSPD-12 badge or Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
