Mechanical Assembler

Terms of Employment:

• W2 Contract, 12 Months

• Onsite at Pasdena, TX

• Work Schedule : M-F 7am-3:30pm with some weekend and other OT hours when needed

Overview:

The Mechanical Assembler works with complex components per the mechanical drawings and/or bill of material.

Responsibilities include:

• Assembles complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material.

• Performs functional testing on assemblies.

• Tests assemblies per customer and/or division criteria.

• Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.

• Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools.

• Performs torquing of various components. Distributes quality notifications (qn's).

Required Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Background in oil & gas, energy, or industrial manufacturing

• Standing for extended periods throughout the shift

• Ability to lift to 40–50 lbs

• Industrial/manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures

• Required use of PPE, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and gloves

• Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial environments

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs

• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed

• Strong adherence to attendance, punctuality, and schedule reliability

• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

• Experience with filtration or separation systems (including Becker balls)

• Familiarity with pneumatic systems and testing equipment
