Terms of Employment:
W2 Contract-to-Hire, Six Months
This position is primarily remote. Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Reston, VA or Washington, DC once per month for all-hands meetings.
Candidates must be willing to work on Sundays during release weekends.
Overview & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior Automation Testing Engineer to join a production support team for a leading healthcare services client. This is a unique automation role focused on ensuring application stability in pre-production (SLR) and production environments. You will be responsible for running daily automated "ShakeOut tests" to validate application health. You will also work with development teams to "fine-tune" and select critical test cases from the development framework and adapt them to run in the production validation framework. You will
Perform daily automated "ShakeOut testing" to ensure user-facing applications are up and running.
Support production releases by performing automated testing (often on Sundays).
Collaborate with development and testing teams to prepare new applications for production.
Analyze development test cases, fine-tune them, and integrate critical tests into the SLR (production) automation framework.
Troubleshoot and support any issues that arise during automated shakeout runs.
Required Qualifications:
Must be available for a mandatory in-person interview in Reston, VA, or Washington, D.C.
Strong experience with Selenium as an automation tool.
Experience with Java-based applications.
Proven experience working with, adapting, or fine-tuning automation frameworks.
Experience with "ShakeOut" (i.e. Smoke / Sanity) testing, production smoke testing, and production validation.
Must be willing to work on Sundays during scheduled release weekends.
Salary : $60 - $70
