What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meter Service Representative Helper position at NSTAR Electric DBA Eversource Energy?

Under close supervision from a qualified employee, individual will perform all work associated with Meter Technical jobs including, but not limited to, installs, removals, investigations, exchanges, disconnects, reconnects, tests and wiring of instrument transformers. Individual will be required to perform physical work indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions, for extended periods of time. In accordance with Company’s procedures, the individual will work in a clean, neat and dependable manner on customer, company or public property. Following Company safety policies, they will perform assigned tasks in a safe manner using proper safety equipment required for the task. Individual will perform other duties as assigned and will be required to occasionally access online databases to obtain necessary information. They will be subject to overtime work as needed and will be required to work storm restoration as needed. Position Requirements A high school diploma or the equivalent and a valid motor vehicle operator’s license are required. Individual must pass the CAST test. The salary range for this position starts at Step 1 $36.57 and progresses in accordance with the union contract.
