Infleqtion (NYSE: INFQ) is a quantum technology company headquartered in the Boulder, Colorado area, commercializing atomic clocks, quantum sensing, and quantum computing for commercial and government customers. It is a publicly traded company that just went public and is building the operating muscle to match its scientific expertise. It is a deep-tech company operating in a regulated, export-controlled environment — and scaling fast. As the business grows, so does its documentation and process development needs. You'll be engaged as a contractor through Nspired Tech Solutions, the IT consulting partner standing up the company's project execution capability, and you'll work directly with the IT leader as your day-to-day sponsor— a senior enterprise CIO heading the buildout.

About the Role

Infleqtion is in the process of building its IT function to align with its engineering and scientific expertise. This includes translating engineering knowledge into efficient processes and frameworks that meet compliance needs for a government-regulated industry. Priorities shift weekly; tooling is basic by design right now and they need to move from spreadsheets to platforms. Stakeholders are scientists and engineers who are brilliant and busy but have not yet codified their expertise. The IT leader runs a high-performance management standard that emphasizes rigorous performance expectations, accountability, and decisive personnel actions in a fast-paced environment.

This role will extract how things work from the people who know, and turn it into documentation the company can run on — policies, SOPs, process maps. It will then help bring order to the organization (intake, priorities, UAT, etc.).

This will be the foundation for an entire IT organization that will experience high growth based on what you codify. In addition to taking on a lead BA function, you will also manage projects as needed.

What You'll Own

• Business analysis — requirements gathering, process documentation, and workflow design.
• Systems & process documentation — document workflow improvements across business and operations systems.
• Compliance-driven projects — support projects inside a SOX, CMMC, and export-control environment, including support for a government compliance enclave program.
• Service management — bring structure to IT service-management workflows.
• High-priority delivery — take on process development initiatives that matter most right now and drive them to completion; in a fast-moving environment, priorities are set with your leader and revisited often.

What We're Looking For:

• 5 years as a BA/Business Systems Analyst with documentation as the primary responsibility.
• Operational documentation — experience owning SOPs, process docs, policies. Writes them start to finish.
• Requirements gathering — experience partnering with technical experts (engineers or scientists), extracting processes, and structuring workflows effectively.
• ERP/CRM - Experience working with ERP and CRM systems that include Finance and supply chain systems.
• Ability to operate in an unstructured, fast-paced environment — startup/scale-up; ability to build structure where none exists.
• Strong communicator, written and verbal — strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience across technical and executive audiences.
• Work eligibility (citizen or green card holder) — export-controlled environment.
• Boulder/Louisville metro local strongly preferred — hybrid with regular onsite

Preferred

• Agile BA artifacts: Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement.
• Project Management: Experience across BOTH Agile and waterfall, adapting method to specific project.
• NetSuite and/or Salesforce ERP.
• Technical literacy: SQL, data mapping, integrations.
• UAT: has planned and run user acceptance testing cycles.
• Jira Confluence: Writing well-formed issues, maintaining documentation spaces.
• AI leverage, intelligently: Uses the latest models to accelerate documentation and analysis — and can stand behind every artifact without them. Fundamentals first; AI as multiplier.
• Regulated environment with compliance exposure (controls, audit-adjacent).

• Structure: full-time hours, contract through Nspired Tech Solutions; 6-month initial term with extension and contract-to-hire potential.
