Major Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nutritional care of the residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility.
- Ensure that quality nutritional services are being provided on a daily basis and to act as a resource to the Director of Dining Services so that the Food Services Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
- Develop and interpret policies and procedures governing the operations of the Dining Services Department, including nutrition care.
- Provide consultation to the Director of Dining Services, Executive Director, and/or RVPO on federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to food service operations.
- You are entrusted to provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association and/or licensed in Dietetics by the applicable state.
- Must have, as a minimum, 3-5 year(s) of dietary experience in long-term care either as a consultant or in a supervisory capacity.
- You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
