Supplier Quality Management
- Evaluate, approve, and monitor supplier quality performance.
- Conduct supplier audits, including process, system, and product audits.
- Ensure supplier compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain supplier scorecards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead supplier development activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
APQP & Launch Activities
- Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
- Review and approve supplier PPAP submissions.
- Verify process capability studies and control plans.
- Participate in new product launches and supplier readiness reviews.
- Ensure supplier achievement of launch timing and quality requirements.
Customer & Plant Support
- Support manufacturing operations regarding supplier quality issues.
- Coordinate sorting, containment, and rework activities.
- Participate in customer visits and quality reviews.
- Minimize production disruptions caused by supplier non-conformances.
- Support other plant activities as needed.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor supplier PPM performance.
- Analyze defect trends and warranty data.
- Develop supplier quality metrics and monthly reports.
- Recommend improvement actions based on performance data.
