What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEAM MEMBER B (Assembly / 1st shift) position at NSK Precision America, Inc. (NPA)?
Job description:
- This position will be responsible for getting parts ready to pack in our grease and bag area and also helping out in packing when needed.
- Assemble components according to specifications following our standard operation procedure
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly work
- Inspect finished parts and for accuracy, quality, and completeness
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report equipment malfunctions or material shortages to supervision
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Looking for:
- Experience: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred with forklift experience.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using common hand tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers).
- Attention to Detail: Able to follow detailed work instructions and ensure accuracy in assembly.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of how mechanical systems fit and function.
- Team Player: Works well with others and communicates effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and strong work ethic.
Experience
Preferred- 1 - 2 years: Experience in Manufacturing field
Education
Required- High School or Equivalent or better
