Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Stone Sales Representative to join the team at NSI Stone Trading. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the natural stone industry who understands granite, marble, quartzite, onyx, etc.
As a Stone Sales Representative, you will work directly with homeowners, designers, architects, fabricators, contractors, and builders to help select the perfect materials for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate combines strong sales ability with a deep understanding of stone applications, fabrication considerations, and design trends.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients in selecting natural stone, quartz, porcelain, and other surfacing materials for kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces, feature walls, commercial spaces, and custom applications.
- Educate customers on the characteristics, benefits, maintenance requirements, and ideal applications of various stone materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, builders, contractors, fabricators, and homeowners.
- Conduct showroom tours and slab presentations to showcase inventory and help clients visualize finished projects.
- Generate and follow up on leads to convert inquiries into sales opportunities.
- Prepare quotes, coordinate material reservations, and manage orders through completion.
- Stay informed on current design trends, new materials, and emerging applications within the stone industry.
- Collaborate with fabrication partners and project stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate customer records and manage accounts through effective communication and relationship-building.
- Support merchandising and showroom presentation by ensuring slabs, displays, and samples are organized and visually appealing.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, trade events, and industry networking opportunities to expand business relationships.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the natural stone, countertop, tile, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, or building materials industry is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of natural stone materials, including granite, marble, quartzite, travertine, limestone, onyx, and engineered surfaces.
- Ability to discuss material performance, fabrication limitations, installation considerations, and maintenance requirements with confidence.
- Proven sales experience with a track record of building client relationships and closing high-value transactions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with designers, architects, builders, fabricators, or construction professionals is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of interior design, construction, or architectural specifications is a plus.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
