Role Description
This position will be securing Solar leases as a contract Sr Land Agent role located in Coastal North Carolina (project boundary is fluid). The Sr Land Agent will be responsible for lease negotiations, land management, lease administration, land acquisition, and managing leases on-site. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing land-related activities, negotiating lease agreements, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for successful land acquisition and management projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in Lease Negotiations and Land Acquisition
- Expertise in Land Management and Lease Administration
- Strong knowledge of renewable leases and the acquisition process
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work on-site in Northeast, NC
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal land regulations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred
