The Warehouse Associate III will retrieve stock to fill the shipping warehouse, accept incoming shipments, and maintain the general organization of the warehouse.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, turret)
- Consistently meet and exceed expectations in all areas (picking, packing, meter and shipping)
- Manage and process complex or large customer order (LTL and Small Parcel)
- Conduct thorough checks of customer orders, identifying, recording and fixing errors
- Pack customer orders to ensure safe transportation
- Navigate Softeon menus to pack orders, process shipments, and resolve minor software errors
- Check, pack and ship international and special-handling orders
- Generate necessary shipping labels and documents for shipments
- Close, load and unload LTL trucks
- Train and mentor employees in picking, packing, meter and shipping
- Assist in receiving products, breaking down pallets, sorting items by SKU, and counting items by SKU before placing them into inventory
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and organization in the work area

- Must be in good physical condition
- Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of distribution center experience
- At least 1 year experience on Softeon
- Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including:
- Hand trucks
- Pallet jacks
- Forklifts – Stand-up/Sit-down
- Order/Cherry picker
- Bendi Forklift experience a plus
- Turret Truck experience a plus
- Must be comfortable using equipment and elevating to heights ranging from 18ft to 30ft
- Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Basic math & computer skills
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic whether they are working with others or working unsupervised
