Position Highlights: Position: Pre-Admission Medical Assistant Location: Elmhurst, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full time Hours: Days What you will do: The Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Medical Assistant is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and coordinating the preparation of patient medical records, pre-op history and physical information, MD standing orders, and assists with obtaining pre-operative testing results for review by a Registered Nurse. The PAT Medical Assistant provides administrative support to the PAT Registered Nurse. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the medical record is complete and prepared with all the appropriate documentation necessary for the day of the procedure/surgery.
