Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Diagnostics Position Highlights: Position: Exercise Physiologist – Cardiac Diagnostics Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week Hours: Day Shift, 7:30 am-4:00 pm On-Call: Rotating weekend call (1-2 times per month) Required Travel: Floating to Schaumburg or 1632 location as needed Holidays: No What you will do: Assist with cardiac stress testing, including patient preparation, exercise monitoring and assessment of patient responses. Monitor vital signs, symptoms and patient tolerance during cardiac diagnostic testing, communicating changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide safe patient care and maintain accurate documentation of testing procedures. What you will need: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology required. Master's degree preferred. Certification: Current American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification required. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
