Currently, NSF is seeking a dynamic and driven Territory Account Executive to expand our sales capability within our Food & Nutrition business across North America. This role focuses on supporting key accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and coordination. This role works closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service and drive business development initiatives,

Responsibilities
- Generate sales and develop a sales pipeline within target markets such as Food Safety, Dietary supplements, laboratory testing & certification services, and advisory/consulting/development services
- Manage key accounts by serving as the primary client contact and ensuring consistent, high-quality service.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the Territory/Program expanding business offerings beyond the quality assurance function ;executive level relationship development at senior leadership team level or in procurement, marketing, category management)
- Develop client relationships through proactive engagement and tailored solutions that address client needs.
- Creates sales plans and forecasts for the Territory/Program, analyzing local market needs and expectations while partnering with marketing to build and execute a tailored strategy
- Coordinate stakeholder interactions to maintain alignment, satisfaction, and support service optimization.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by tracking feedback and collaborating with internal teams for smooth delivery.
- Support cross-selling efforts by identifying opportunities and aligning services with client goals.
- Contribute to business planning by building account strategies and adjusting to meet performance targets.
- Drive sales efforts through RFP participation, proposal development, and client business reviews.
- Maintain CRM accuracy by documenting all client activities for effective reporting and forecasting.
- Grow customer accounts to key account level
- Meet or exceed sales (Key Performance Indicator) KPIs
- Collaborate with other NSF business units to deliver and complete strategic projects
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred in analytical sciences or related field
- 5 years of relevant experience in sales or related field
- Deep knowledge/experience in the targeted territory/program (food and nutritional products marketing, development, sales, or analytical sciences), including account planning and territory management )
- Proficiency in selling the product portfolio and using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and systems
- Experience in direct selling with quota responsibility
- Ability to manage forecast accuracy regularly; excellent negotiation and presentation skills are essential
- Must be in the United States; preferably located near concentration of food/nutritional organizations (Midwest, Southeast, NJ, CA, etc)
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is preferred
- Knowledge or experience in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry, analytical testing and advisory services is preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
