The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Education & Knowledge Programs Manager to join our team. This full-time position plays an important role in helping NSCA support the growth and success of the systems integration industry by expanding access to education, business knowledge, and workforce development resources for member companies.
This role will help lead key initiatives focused on workforce development, professional education, and knowledge sharing across the industry. Responsibilities include managing workforce development programs, supporting professional training opportunities for members, and helping launch and manage NSCA’s new XBO Knowledge Hub—an initiative designed to unlock the full value of NSCA’s extensive library of educational and business resources through an AI-enabled knowledge platform.
This position requires strong program and project management skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with member companies, schools, industry partners, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and passionate about helping integration companies build stronger teams and businesses.
Primary Responsibilities
Program & Project Management
• Manage the development and implementation of NSCA’s workforce development initiatives, including career awareness programs, school outreach, curriculum implementation, and workforce pipeline development.
• Oversee NSCA’s Ignite Internship Program, including program structure, educational resources, LMS learning components, and relationships with participating member companies.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, technical programs, and workforce organizations to expand awareness of careers within the integration industry and encourage adoption of NSCA-developed curriculum.
• Identify opportunities for NSCA and its member companies to participate in career fairs and workforce development events, helping coordinate industry representation and follow-up with potential candidates.
Education & Training Programs
• Support and manage NSCA’s education and professional training ecosystem, including internal LMS programs and training opportunities offered through strategic partners.
• Help organize and improve accessibility of NSCA’s educational resources, ensuring members can easily identify and benefit from available training programs, tools, and industry insights.
• Assist in developing learning pathways that help member companies strengthen leadership, operational, and business capabilities using NSCA’s existing educational resources.
XBO Knowledge Hub Initiative
• Help lead the launch and ongoing management of NSCA’s XBO Knowledge Hub, a new initiative designed to organize and unlock the value of NSCA’s extensive knowledge resources for member companies.
• Coordinate the development and ongoing improvement of the Knowledge Hub platform, which will feature an AI-enabled interface allowing members to ask questions about their businesses and receive customized guidance drawn from NSCA resources.
• Curate and organize NSCA’s knowledge assets within the platform, including articles, guides, templates, white papers, archived webinars, research reports, training programs, and more than 650 documents within the NSCA Essentials Library.
• Work with internal stakeholders, technology partners, and subject matter experts to ensure the Knowledge Hub provides practical, actionable guidance to integration company leaders.
• Help develop structured learning pathways and ongoing education roadmaps that guide members toward deeper learning opportunities and expert partners when appropriate.
Industry Programs & Events
• Support the planning and development of content for NSCA’s XBO Experience, an event designed to support next-generation leaders within the integration industry.
• Work with NSCA committees and industry experts to identify content topics, recruit speakers, and align educational sessions with relevant NSCA resources.
Industry Initiatives & Partnerships
• Support the development of workforce initiatives designed to connect NSCA member companies with new sources of talent, including potential programs connecting veterans with careers in the integration industry.
• Collaborate with industry partners, educators, and member companies to expand awareness of careers in systems integration and strengthen workforce pipelines.
NSCA Education Foundation Support
• Assist with initiatives supporting the NSCA Education Foundation, including scholarship programs and workforce development initiatives.
• Support fundraising efforts and engagement activities that help advance the Foundation’s mission.
• Assist with budget planning and adherence related to Foundation initiatives.
