What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Technician position at NSC Staffing?
We are hiring Solar Technicians for a long-term project in Bastrop, TX
Pay: $47.19/hr
Per Diem: $120/day ($600/week)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
- Install, bend, and run conduit for solar electrical systems
- Perform DC and AC wiring for solar PV systems
- Install and terminate wiring, combiner boxes, inverters, disconnects, panels, and feeders
- Assist with installation of solar PV components
- Troubleshoot solar electrical systems, wiring, and power distribution equipment
- Read and work from electrical drawings while following NEC requirements and site standards
Requirements:
- Strong commercial solar electrical experience
- OSHA 10
- NFPA 70E
- Lift Certification
- Lockout/Tagout knowledge
- Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen, MVR, and background check
- English speaking
