- Hours: 40 hours a week
- Shift: Monday-Friday 1st shift TBD start time

- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of diesel- and gasoline-powered equipment with general oversight. Equipment may include construction equipment, tractors, mowers, zero-turn mowers, generators, utility equipment, handheld equipment, pressure washers, attachments, and other related mechanical equipment.
- The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and can independently diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and related equipment systems with minimal supervision.
- Responsibilities
- Perform or assist with a variety of mechanical repair, maintenance, and service tasks.
- Diagnose and repair assigned diesel- and gasoline-powered equipment, components, and systems with minimal supervision.
- Service and repair diesel and gasoline engines, including related fuel, ignition, electrical, and cooling systems.
- Diagnose and repair fuel systems, carburetors, fuel injection systems, ignition systems, hydraulic systems, transmissions, drive systems, belts, pulleys, brakes, chassis, and related components.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, adjustments, preventative maintenance, and equipment servicing.
- Maintain a working knowledge of construction equipment, tractors, mowers, zero-turn mowers, generators, utility equipment, handheld equipment, pressure washers, attachments, and other diesel- and gasoline-powered equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, shop equipment, and manufacturer-approved service equipment to complete repairs.
- Assist with major component repairs, rebuilds, replacements, and installations as needed.
- Troubleshoot and independently repair common mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and engine-related issues.
- Access and utilize manufacturer service information, troubleshooting resources, service manuals, and electronic diagnostic systems.
- Operate diagnostic equipment such as laptops, scan tools, multimeters, pressure gauges, compression testers, tachometers, and other manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools.
- Participate in OEM/manufacturer training, dealership training, safety meetings, and team meetings.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and properly maintain company-owned tools and equipment.
- Notify the Service Manager or supervisor when additional repairs, parts, or service work are required.
- Follow all company safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and request assistance when necessary.
- Properly document repairs, diagnostic findings, labor performed, parts used, and additional service recommendations.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service when communicating with customers regarding equipment repairs and service needs.
