Overview:
This Healthcare Construction Company is an industry leader in modular healthcare construction, leveraging a design-manufacture-construct (DMC) approach to deliver better buildings faster. We’re seeking a dynamic All Trades Manager to oversee self-performed trade work across modular healthcare projects nationwide.
This role is remote but requires regular travel to project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all self-performed trades: module erection, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and finish carpentry
- Estimate trade scopes, perform material takeoffs, and manage procurement
- Oversee subcontractor bidding, selection, and coordination for tiered scopes (low voltage, data, site utilities, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure constructability and reduce inefficiencies
- Plan and manage crew headcount, project assignments, manpower forecasting, and shutdown coordination
- Ensure field teams follow safety standards, SOPs, and quality expectations
- Mentor and train crews, identifying future leaders and promoting skill development
- Track and manage financial performance, budgets, and forecasts for trade work
- Ensure compliance with all codes, standards, and regulations
- Lead constructability reviews, RFI processes, submittals, and preconstruction planning
Requirements:
- 10 years of construction experience (healthcare preferred)
- Proven experience managing internal/direct labor crews
- Strong background in estimating and trade operations
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams
- Proficient in MS Office; Procore experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of construction codes, contracts, and regulatory requirements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment
