We are looking to add an experienced, highly motivated, and energetic Shipping Clerk to join our team who strives to ensure that all tasks are successfully accomplished within time.
Primary Responsibility
To ensure the quality and on-time delivery of shipped parts and parts released to Manufacturing. This position requires knowledge of shipping and receiving processes and techniques, inventory control, and mechanical parts. Further, to assist the Purchasing & Parts Manager in support of the overall Company and Parts department’s goals.
Education and Experience Background:
- High School diploma or GED with a minimum of one year of related palletizing, shipping and receiving or part room experience or equivalent training/work experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must work well within team framework; Detail-oriented and quality-focused; Communicate effectively establishes positive working relationships; Must be dependable and on-time; Structure tasks and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines and accomplish departmental goals; Familiarity with all aspects of shipping processes and duties (preferred); Strong technical and electro-mechanical aptitude; Ability to safely and accurately palletize complete parts orders for shipping (highly preferred); Familiarity with electrical and mechanical parts, hardware, assemblies related to the vehicle wash systems or similar products (highly preferred); Basic knowledge of hand tools/ air tools (impact wrench, power drill, nail/ rivet gun, grinder, pneumatic benders, etc.).
