Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining inventory for the WIFI cable installation program on contractor sites. This position involves overseeing large-volume, small-part inventory related to materials such as splitters, construction supplies, vaults (protecting electrical wiring), markers, and more. The specialist will ensure that inventory is accurately labeled, organized, and placed in the appropriate locations across multiple buildings and small warehouses on the site. A strong focus on data management and continuous process improvement is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify stock information and unit identification numbers accurately.
• Inventory and audit equipment and parts regularly.
• Unpackage, sort, and stage materials and units for production use.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Perform cycle counts and audits according to company policies and procedures.
• Organize inventory placement across buildings and small warehouse areas on contractor sites.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in inventory management, preferably with high-volume, small-part inventory.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workflow effectively.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand outdoors for extended periods.
• Flexibility in schedule as needed.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in Excel is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Work is performed primarily outdoors and within buildings on a contractor site.
• Inventory is stored in various locations, including small warehouses with dock doors.
• Not located within a client//'s warehouse.
