Reporting to VP, Field Operations, the Implementation Specialist’s primary mandate is to coordinate implementations and ensure all customers are informed about and upgraded to the latest compliant versions of applicable software in an effective and timely manner.

Reporting to VP, Field Operations, the Implementation Specialist’s primary mandate is to coordinate implementations and ensure all customers are informed about and upgraded to the latest compliant versions of applicable software in an effective and timely manner.
The Implementation Specialist Is Expected To
- Possess a strong technical background with customer service experience
- Coordinate implementations at customer sites at a national and international level
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Initiative, taking ownership of tasks
- Ability to work in a team or independently with little oversight
- Customer service
- Problem determination and problem solving
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Time management, handling multiple tasks concurrently
Implementations
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor & control and close new implementations and additions to existing installations at client sites
- Develop implementation plans in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders
- Implementation scheduling, including resource requirements, allocation and responsibilities
- Record all projects in the Project Calendar and update as required.
- Works closely with the Field Technical Services manager to schedule resources for implementations
- Establish communication plan to all relevant stakeholders
- Translate firm sales orders into implementation plans
- Convene, lead or participate in project meetings that involve client representatives, internal staff and third parties, from operational staff level to senior executive management
- Execute implementation closure by conducting debriefings with both internal and external stakeholders
- Request, monitor and analyze reports from trainers and technical staff
- Track and manage the resolution of outstanding issues or requirements
- Recommend process improvements based on industry best practices or experience with other clients
- Other projects/duties as assigned by manager
- A proven track record of successful project implementation in a software or systems environment; international implementation experience preferred
- Excellent organization, written and client facing skills
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office
- Formal training in Project Management methods and techniques considered an asset
- Previous casino/gaming experience considered an asset
- Ability to travel as required
- PMP Certification desired or equivalent project management experience
