Job Summary
This job consists of local deliveries requiring city driving skills. Drivers are home daily, receive Safety Bonuses, and work varied shifts including early mornings and late evenings.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain on-time delivery to dedicated accounts
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Operate Company owned tractor-trailer trucks safely
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Maintain all required certifications and property entrusted to the driver in excellent condition
Requirements
- Class A CDL license
- Safe driving record (MVR, CSA, previous employment)
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet medical requirements
- Good stable work record and current DOT physical
- At least 23 years of age and 1 year of Class-A driving experience or equivalent military experience
Physical Demands
- Extended periods of sitting while operating vehicles
- Frequent manual dexterity use of hands and feet to operate vehicles and manage equipment
- Occasional heavy lifting and carrying of cargo exceeding 50 pounds
