We are a growing tech company building easy-to-use software for driving schools, helping them streamline operations and improve the experience for both schools and students.
We’re looking for a Field Sales Representative to drive new business across California. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to in-person product demonstrations and closing deals. You’ll work directly with our Head of Operations while managing your own pipeline and territory.
This is an independent contractor position ideal for someone who is motivated by performance-based earnings and enjoys a mix of phone outreach and face-to-face selling.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and reach out to driving schools through cold calls, email, and in-person visits
- Schedule and conduct product demonstrations for school owners and staff
- Clearly communicate the value of our software and tailor presentations to customer needs
- Manage your sales pipeline and track activity using internal tools
- Close new business and consistently work toward sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both over the phone and in person
- Confidence in cold outreach and face-to-face sales
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple prospects at once
- Interest in sales, technology, or education
- Previous sales, customer service, or outreach experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
Compensation
- Independent contractor (1099) role
- Base pay of $18/hour for up to 20 hours per week (primarily for outreach and admin activity)
- Commission on each closed sale (up to 3 per client)
- Commission can be paid out weekly, biweekly or monthly depending on your choice.
- On-target earnings up to $4,000 per month based on performance
