Position: Workers' Compensation Attorney
Location: Shady Grove, MD (Hybrid - 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)

A well-established law firm is seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney with 2-3 years of experience to join its team in Shady Grove, MD. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling Maryland workers' compensation cases and a strong understanding of the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission procedures. This is a hybrid position offering flexibility, with four days in-office and one day remote.
Key Requirements:

2-3 years of experience handling Maryland workers' compensation cases, including appearances and hearings before the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission (this is a firm requirement).

Admission to practice law in Maryland and residency in the DMV area.

Excellent oral advocacy, negotiation, and writing skills.

Proven ability to manage a busy docket and maintain strong communication with clients.
Responsibilities:

Represent clients throughout all stages of Maryland workers' compensation matters, including investigations, hearings, and settlements.

Conduct hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and attention to detail.

Develop and implement case strategies, ensuring responsive and ongoing communication with clients to provide excellent service and legal guidance.
