We are currently seeking a bilingual Spanish litigation paralegal in Washington, D.C. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with attorneys on high-profile international litigation and corporate investigations, with potential travel for short- to medium-term assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage documents for litigation and regulatory matters, including coordinating document productions.
- Translate, review, and summarize legal and business documents, correspondence, and other written materials.
- Obtain official documents and certificates from courts and government agencies
- Prepare and file court documents.
- Conduct legal and factual research and perform document searches.
- Assist in preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials, and attend when necessary.
- Coordinate trial logistics and set-up.
- Attend client meetings, regulatory meetings, and court proceedings, providing support such as note-taking and managing exhibits.
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external vendors, including translation services, document management providers, and trial graphics consultants.
- Support the creation of marketing and business development materials.
- Perform other tasks as needed in support of the team.
