A premier aesthetic medicine and surgical practice in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced PA-C or NP with a passion for aesthetics and plastic surgery. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support cosmetic services, and collaborate with surgeons in a growing specialty practice.
Responsibilities
- Support surgeons with patient consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning
- Perform pre-operative assessments and medical history reviews
- Coordinate surgical preparation, testing, and medical clearances
- Manage post-operative visits, recovery monitoring, and patient follow-up
- Evaluate healing progress and identify potential concerns
- Educate patients on procedures, recovery expectations, and care plans
- Perform aesthetic treatments within scope of practice, including: Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, Xeomin), Dermal fillers, Biostimulatory fillers and collagen-enhancing treatments, Advanced facial balancing and rejuvenation procedures
- Conduct detailed aesthetic consultations
- Develop customized treatment plans based on patient goals
- Educate patients on surgical and non-surgical options
- Maintain accurate treatment records and clinical photography
- Follow safety standards and evidence-based aesthetic protocols
- Perform minor procedures including: Suture and drain removal, Wound care, Scar management treatments, Minor procedures within credentialing and scope of practice
- Assist physicians with office-based treatments and procedures
- Build lasting relationships with patients through exceptional care
- Support growth of aesthetic services and non-surgical offerings
- Improve patient satisfaction, retention, and treatment outcomes
- Participate in patient education, community outreach, and practice initiatives
- Serve as a trusted clinical representative of the practice
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and practice standards
- Complete ongoing education and professional development
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
