This role plays a critical part in ensuring our sales representatives are fully authorized to operate in cities and states across the country by securing solicitor permits and maintaining compliance records.

Overview
Vivint is seeking several detail-oriented, proactive City Permitting Coordinators to join our newly created Permitting & Licensing Operations team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our sales representatives are fully authorized to operate in cities and states across the country by securing solicitor permits and maintaining compliance records.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and obtain solicitor permits in required cities and municipalities.
- Track and manage employee registrations, background checks, and fingerprinting processes.
- Maintain systems for tracking renewals and license expirations.
- Support local and corporate licensing events (e.g., on-site fingerprinting).
- Monitor updates to state or city requirements and adjust internal processes accordingly.
- Respond to internal inquiries from sales reps and managers regarding licensing and permit statuses.
- Coordinate with cities and agencies to troubleshoot application or documentation issues.
- Ensure all records are updated, logged, and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Prior experience in permitting, licensing, administrative, or municipal-facing roles.
- High level of comfort using Excel or other spreadsheet/database tools.
- Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive requests with composure and accuracy.
- Customer service mindset, especially when working with field sales teams.
