Order Fulfillment Associate

Job Summary
Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Fulfillment Associate, where your energy and precision will drive the seamless processing of customer orders. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service. Your expertise in warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation will contribute to our efficient distribution process, supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Duties

• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick and verify customer orders, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other machinery to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities by preparing packages, labeling shipments correctly, and maintaining detailed inbound and outbound logs.
• Handle materials with care during picking, packing, and movement processes to prevent damage and ensure quality control.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following safety guidelines and participating in regular safety inspections.
• Support warehouse supervision by following instructions for order picking procedures and participating in inventory counts when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as construction or materials handling.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation including forklifts, clamp trucks, crane operation, pallet jacks, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems with accuracy.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use.
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes including load & unload procedures.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking throughout shifts.
