NRE needs MECHANICS for our SILVIS, IL facility!
As a Mechanic at NRE, you will be repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining locomotives and engines. All repairs at NRE are performed in accordance with FRA, industry and company specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diesel mechanic experience and/or Diesel mechanic diploma
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
- Work in a shop environment and outside in all weather conditions.
- Occasionally work in confined spaces and at elevated heights
- Frequent stooping, lifting, kneeling, bending, crouching and climbing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $31.00 per hour
