Role Description
This is a contract-based, hybrid Import Export Manager role located in Monrovia, CA, with some flexibility for remote work. The Import Export Manager will oversee all import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing export documentation, coordinating shipments, monitoring supply chain procedures, and working closely with global suppliers and clients. The role also requires regular communication with various stakeholders to address logistical challenges and optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Import Export and Export processes, including Export Documentation
- Knowledge of International Trade laws, regulations, and related compliance requirements
- Effective Communication skills for liaising with stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage documentation and logistics
- Experience in supply chain or logistics management is a plus
- Proficiency in relevant software systems or tools is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field
