Position Overview:
This role is ideal for an Enrolled Agent who enjoys working closely with clients year-round, providing personalized tax and financial advice, and contributing to the growth of the firm. Beyond compliance, you will help clients uncover opportunities, minimize risk, and plan strategically for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to individuals and business clients, offering proactive tax planning and strategy.
- Prepare and review a wide range of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their primary point of contact for tax and financial questions.
- Communicate complex tax matters in a clear, client-friendly way.
- Identify opportunities for clients to save money, improve cash flow, and reach financial goals.
- Collaborate with the firm’s leadership to identify ways to expand services and deepen client engagement.
- Represent clients before the IRS and state agencies as needed.
- Contribute to firm growth by providing exceptional client experiences that lead to referrals and long-term retention.
Qualifications:
- Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required.
- 3 years of tax preparation and planning experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes with an interest in ongoing learning.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to translate technical tax concepts into practical, actionable client guidance.
