Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic construction environment.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople in their tasks
- Carry and move construction materials and tools around the job site
- Help with site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as needed under supervision
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials when required
- Support the team in meeting project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings
